When not to use
Hypersensitivity to the drug and patients with Leber’s Disease
Use with caution in gall bladder disease, peptic ulcer, glaucoma, elevated uric acid, liver disease.
Patients who have had a recent gastrointestinal surgery may have reduced absorption of this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments should be done under your doctor’s supervision.

Coadministration of antacids and this medicine may reduce the absorption of this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative should be done under your doctor’s supervision.
Breast Feeding
This medicine can be taken by women who are breastfeeding. However, the daily recommended amount should not be exceeded. You are advised to consult a doctor before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy

Drugs to avoid
Drugs that can interact with this drug are Isoniazid, Neomycin, chloramphenicol, Omeprazole and Ranitidine.
